Do you use any additives or preservatives?
Nope, never. All our hot sauces are handmade in Berlin using only natural ingredients. No additives, no preservatives, just real flavour from fresh produce and carefully selected chillis.
Are your sauces vegan / gluten-free?
Every Crazy Bastard Sauce is 100% vegan and gluten-free.
Where are your products made?
All our products are made in our kitchen in Neukölln, Berlin. We produce everything in-house to guarantee quality, consistency, and flavor.
What bottle sizes do you offer?
Our classic size is 100ml, perfect for everyday use. Most sauces are also available in 200ml bottles and 1L canisters for regular users and professional kitchens. We’ll soon be launching 30ml sample sets so you can explore the full range.

How do I choose the right heat level?
Our hot sauces range from mild to extremely spicy options. If you’re new to hot sauce, start with a milder sauce and work your way up. Each product includes a heat level and flavor description to help you choose.
Which hot sauce is best for beginners?
Our Jalapeño & Date hot sauce is the best place to start. Mild heat, balanced sweetness, and incredibly versatile. A perfect introduction to our range.
Which is your hottest hot sauce?
Superhot Reaper is our hottest hot sauce. It delivers intense heat from Carolina Reaper chilis.
How many Scoville Units are your sauces?
We provide Scoville ratings for most of our hot sauces so you can compare heat levels. You can find full details here.
Usage
Can I cook with your hot sauces or just use them as a topping?
Both. Our hot sauces are designed for cooking, marinating, and finishing dishes. Use them in the kitchen or straight from the bottle.

Orders & Shipping
Where do you ship your hot sauce?
We ship across Germany, Europe, and the UK.
We currently don’t ship to the US, Australia, or Canada due to unreliable delivery options, but we’re working on bringing this back soon.
How long does delivery take?
- Berlin: 1-2 days
- Germany: 2-4 days
- France & Switzerland: 3-5 days
- Rest of mainland Europe: 3-6 days
- Outside central/Western Europe: 5-15 days
When will my order be shipped?
We ship all orders the next business day. Order before 9am for same-day dispatch. Shipping runs Monday-Friday from Berlin.
How much does shipping cost?

Can I track my order?
Of course! Once your order ships, you’ll receive a tracking link by email.
What if my order arrives damaged?

Can I order online and pick up in Berlin?

Storage & Shelf Life
What is the shelf life of your hot sauce?
All our hot sauces have a shelf life of at least 18 months from delivery.
How long does hot sauce last after opening?
We recommend refrigerating after opening and using within 6 months for best flavor. It remains safe beyond that but may change slightly in taste.

Do you offer hot sauce gift sets?
Yes! Our Hot Sauce Gift Sets are perfect for spice lovers, foodies, and anyone who appreciates big flavors.
Can I send hot sauce as a gift?
Leave a note at checkout and we’ll remove the invoice and can include a personalised message if requested.
Do you offer custom hot sauce bundles?

What languages do you speak?
We speak English and German natively, and can assist in other languages using translation tools.
Will a limited edition hot sauce return?
Most limited edition hot sauces are one-off small-batch releases (around 1000 bottles). Occasionally, popular ones return or become permanent products.
Do you have a Black Friday sale?
We like to do things a bit differently. Our Black Friday Anti-Sale keeps prices the same, but 20% of sales go to charities supporting workers’ rights.
