SPICY SAUSAGE PASTA WITH HABANERO AND TOMATILLO HOT SAUCE

 

This simple weeknight meal is the perfect way to enjoy our Habanero and Tomatillo hot sauce in a comforting Italian-inspired dish

Why This Hot Sauce

Our Habanero & Tomatillo offering adds depth, brightness and just the right amount of heat to pasta dishes, pizzas, grilled meats and sandwiches, making it an incredibly versatile everyday hot sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp of oil
  • 2 shallots, diced
  • 150 gr of sausage, chopped
  • 3 tbsp of Habanero and Tomatillo hot sauce
  • 100 gr chopped tomatoes, from a can
  • 2 tsp of sugar
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 120 gr of cooked fusilli pasta

To Finish

  • Freshly grated Parmesan cheese


Recipe Tips:

  • Use high-quality sausage for a richer flavor
  • Cook your pasta al dente so it holds its texture when mixed with the sauce

Method:

  1. Heat the oil in a pan and cook the chopped sausage for around 5 minutes until browned
  2. Add the diced shallots and cook for a further 3 minutes until softened
  3. Stir in the Habanero & Tomatillo hot sauce and chopped tomatoes
  4. Season with sugar, salt and black pepper, then simmer gently for 5 minutes
  5. Add the cooked fusilli and toss until evenly coated in the sauce
  6. Serve immediately with freshly grated parmesan to taste
