This simple weeknight meal is the perfect way to enjoy our Habanero and Tomatillo hot sauce in a comforting Italian-inspired dish
Why This Hot Sauce
Our Habanero & Tomatillo offering adds depth, brightness and just the right amount of heat to pasta dishes, pizzas, grilled meats and sandwiches, making it an incredibly versatile everyday hot sauce
Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp of oil
- 2 shallots, diced
- 150 gr of sausage, chopped
- 3 tbsp of Habanero and Tomatillo hot sauce
- 100 gr chopped tomatoes, from a can
- 2 tsp of sugar
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 120 gr of cooked fusilli pasta
To Finish
- Freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Recipe Tips:
- Use high-quality sausage for a richer flavor
- Cook your pasta al dente so it holds its texture when mixed with the sauce
Method:
- Heat the oil in a pan and cook the chopped sausage for around 5 minutes until browned
- Add the diced shallots and cook for a further 3 minutes until softened
- Stir in the Habanero & Tomatillo hot sauce and chopped tomatoes
- Season with sugar, salt and black pepper, then simmer gently for 5 minutes
- Add the cooked fusilli and toss until evenly coated in the sauce
